WICHITA, Kan. - Seven Wichita State baseball student-athletes earned all-Missouri Valley Conference honors.  One was named to the first team and one to the second team, while four earned honorable mention honors and one earned all-defensive team honors.

Johnny Coy earned his second-straight first team honor.  This season Coy was named as the designated hitter after being named first team all-Valley at first base last season.

Cale Elam earned his second-straight second team honor.  Elam was named as a relief pitcher both seasons.

Four players were named to the honorable mention team including shortstop Erik Harbutz, utility player Dayne Parker, outfielder Micah Green and starting pitcher Josh Smith.

Kevin Hall was named to the inaugural Valley All-Defensive Team as an outfielder.
