WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State women's tennis team will
welcome the Denver Pioneers to Wichita Country Club on Sunday, February 3.
Denver (1-2) is coming of a close, 4-3 loss to Kansas on
Friday in Lawrence before making the trip to Wichita for Sunday's match. Their
lone win of the season came in 7-0 defeat of Louisiana Lafayette.
Wichita State (2-4) fell to No. 23
Tulsa last time out, 6-1. Junior Satjaporn Mahajaroenkul captured the only win
in the match for the Shockers, taking down taking down Maria Sant'Anna, 7-6,
2-6, 10-8. Mahajaroenkul is 8-6 on the season in singles play, including 3-3,
all at the No. 3 position, in dual matches.
The match will begin at 10 a.m. and
results will be posted on GoShockers.com following the completion of play.
