WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State women's tennis team will play their first conference dual match of the season on Sunday against Creighton at Wichita Country Club.

Creighton (2-5, 0-1) will be playing their second MVC game of the season after falling to Illinois State 6-1 on Sunday, February 17. The Bluejays won a close 4-3 battle over South Dakota State on Friday, March 1.

The four-time defending MVC champions, Wichita State (3-7, 0-0) will be looking to bounce back after losses against tough opponents, Kansas State and Purdue last weekend. Montse Blasco Fernandez leads the Shockers in singles play with a record of 12-7.

The match will begin at 8 a.m. and live stats will be available.
