WICHITA, Kan.- Wichita State men's tennis head coach
Brad Louderback announced the signing of Savaneta, Aruba native Ibian Hodgson today.
Hodgson will come to Wichita State as a sophomore for the 2013-14 year, after transferring from Stony Brook University where he took a redshirt.
In 2011-12, he was ranked as high as No. 349 by the ITF, and was the No. 1 under-18 player in Aruba. Hodgson's best win came against the No. 36 player in the ITF junior rankings, Naoki Nakagawa of Japan, whom he defeated in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. He also played on the Davis Cup team for Aruba.
