Black Ties Series With 8-5 Win

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita State Black squad tied the Fall World Series at two games apiece with an 8-5 win in game four.

Kyle Sisney and Chris O'Brien each had two hits for the Black, while Remington Johnson went 1-for-1 with two RBI and a home run. Black squad starter Brian Flynn earned the win going five shutout innings with five strikeouts.

Andrew Letourneau went 4-for-5 for the Gold, while Will Baez and Cody Lassley each drove in two. Gold starter Charlie Lowell took the loss going five innings and giving up two runs on three hits while striking out two.

The two teams meet in game five on Sun., Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.
