Gold Shuts Out Black, 4-0

WICHITA, Kan. - Tim Kelley pitched five shutout innings to lead the Gold to a 4-0 victory over the Black in game five of the Fall World Series. The Gold now leads the series three games to two.

Chance Sossamon went 3-for-4 with two RBI for the Gold, while also pitching a scoreless ninth with two strikeouts. Cody Lassley also went 2-for-3 for the Gold.

Kevin Hall led the Black squad going 2-for-3. Black starter Jordan Cooper took the loss going six innings and giving up three runs on five hits with four strikeouts.

Game six of the series is Tue., Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
