WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita State Black squad forced a game seven in the Fall World Series with a 7-2 win in game six.
Mitch Caster went 4-for-4 with two RBI for the Black, while Clint McKeever went 3-for-5 with three RBI. Black starter Brian Flynn earned the win going six innings and giving up two runs on three hits while striking out five.
Will Baez went 2-for-5 for the Gold, while Gold starter Dalton Banwart took the loss going five innings and giving up seven runs on eight hits.
The two teams meet in game seven at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
