Junior (2009-10): Named to the Valley’s Most Improved Team in a vote of the league’s beat writers... Also named Third -Team Academic All-American and All-District VII All-Academic First Team for a 3.7 in Chemistry...Recognized by the Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association as a First Team Scholar-Athlete and to the All-Valley Scholar-Athlete First Team... Starts were against Centenary, at Drake and at Missouri State, while he also started the two CBI games in Wichita against Buffalo and Stanford... Had three double-figure scoring games, including 11 points in the first game of the season against Florida A&M, a career-high 12 against Creighton in the MVC Tournament and 10 against Buffalo in the first round of the CBI... Led the Shockers in free throw percentage, hitting 84.8 percent (28-33)... Had 16 treys, including three against the A&M Rattlers and two against Creighton in the MVC Tournament... Six rebounds against Stanford was a career-high.
Freshman (2007-08): Played in 14 games as a freshman, averaging 2.6 points while making 10-of-23 treys...Also started three games, at Missouri State, at Illinois State and against Bradley in Wichita...Scored a career-high nine points against Creighton...Missed last six games of the season due to a foot injury...Named to the WSU AD's honor roll in the spring.
High School: Averaged 14.5 points on 56 percent from the field as a senior at Mesa High before taking two years to go on his Morman mission...Originally signed with WSU in April, 2005...Also shot 34 percent from the arc and 85 percent from the line...As a junior, he was All-East Valley Region, averaging 10 points and four rebounds... As a junior, he made the final four free throws of the 5A championship to propel Mesa to the title.
