PINEHURST, N.C. - Wichita State women's golf team is set to tee off at the 2009 Pinehurst Challenge on Monday morning in the Shockers final tournament of the fall season.

The fifteen-team tournament field will start the 36-hole tournament at 10:15 a.m., with the first pairing's scheduled tee time. Pinehurst No. 6 will serve as the home course for the tournament host College of Charleston Cougars. The Par-72 course plays to 6,004 yards.

Tuesday's final round will begin at 8:45 a.m. with a shotgun start.

Wichita State has finished eighth or better in each of the team's four tournaments this fall, including a second-place mark at the Shocker Invitational on Oct. 19-20. Junior Adin Stromgren led the Shocks at their home tournament and will take the No. 1 position in the Shocker lineup for the first time this season.
