WICHITA, Kan. – Former Wichita State volleyball standout Sara Lungren has been nominated for induction into the 2010 Class of The Wichita Sports Hall of Fame.

Lungren is one of 11 nominees for the class of 2010 and seven of the 11 will be enshrined. 

The class is voted on by the public and can be done on the Hall of Fame website at www.wichitahof.com.

Lungren, who played for the Shockers from 2004-07, finished her career with 1,269 kills, 133 service aces, and 1,045 digs.  She earned All-America honors in 2007 and was named Missouri Valley Conference Player-of-the-Year in 2006 and 2007.
