WICHITA, Kan. -
The Wichita State volleyball team is picked third in the 2010 Missouri Valley
Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Shockers received 80 points in the poll.
The Shockers return six letterwinners and three starters
from a team that went 26-7 overall in 2009 and 14-4 in Missouri Valley
Conference play.
Two Shockers were also named to the Preseason All-Valley
Team. Senior middle blocker Sarah
McGee and junior setter Mary Elizabeth Hooper were named to the team and both
were first team all-Valley selections in 2009.
