WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State baseball team opened its first day
of spring practice Fri., Jan. 27 outside at Eck Stadium.
Wichita State kicks off the 2012 season on Fri., Feb.
17 against Louisiana-Lafayette at the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos, Texas.
WSU returns 19 letterwinners and six starters from
last year's squad, including all-conference selections Johnny Coy and Cale Elam.
