WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita State volleyball program held its fourth annual Volleyball 101 Dinner on Aug. 18 in the Preferred Health Systems Multipurpose Center.  The event featured a silent auction along with station demonstrations.

The event helped raise money for the Shocker volleyball program and had more than 400 people in attendance.  After the buffet, Heach Coach Chris Lamb introduced the 2012 team and auctioned off a meal with the team at River City Brewery and a trip to the Indiana State and Illinois State matches.

The night ended with fans learning volleyball basics at different stations.

The Shockers open the 2012 season on Aug. 24 at the NIU lnvitational against New Mexico State and open up at home on Aug. 30 against Colorado State.
