WICHITA, Kan. - Members of the Wichita State University
men's and women's cross country teams will race in the Ollie Ison Invitational
in El Dorado, Kan. Friday afternoon. Six members of the men's team will compete
in a 5K and two members of the women's team will compete in the 4K.
"We are using this meet as an opportunity for our
non-conference runners to continue to compete and race against other schools as
the season goes along," Head Coach Kirk Hunter said. "I wanted them to have
another race to compete in before the season ends."
Results of the Ollie Ison Invitational will
be posted Friday afternoon as the meet concludes.
