WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State women's golf team will head
to Buies Creek, N.C. to compete in the Fighting Camel Classic at Keith Hills
Country Club, October 22-23, for their final tournament of the fall season.
The Shockers are coming off their best tournament of the
season last week at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial, where they finished in
fourth place as a team. They shot the fourth best team score in Shocker
history, carding a 920 (313-298-309) over the three rounds.

rounds together, as three of them finished in the top-30. Freshman Bryce
Schroeder led the team in scoring for the first time this season, shooting a

shot behind her with a 225 (76-73-76), which was good for a tie for fifth.

Schroeder, Martin and Rugeles will be joined by seniors
Hollie Weatherburn and Sarah Gilbert for the Fighting Camel Classic. They will
