WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State head coach
Gregg Marshall will be on Sirius XM College Sports Nation (Ch. 91) radio tonight on the Inside College Basketball Show with Jeff Goodman and Former Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl at approximately 9:30 p.m. Central.
In addition, several national pundits, most recently Andy Glockner, Matt Norlander and Jon Rothstein, as the Shockers break into the Top 25 and stay undefeated at 8-0.
“You probably can't name one player on the team, but don't sleep on the Shockers. They're reloaded and headed toward another NCAA berth.” –Matt Norlander, Wake Up Call article, CBS Sports.com, Dec. 5
– An underrated reason for Wichita State's 8-0 start is Ehimen Orukpe's defense. The 7-foot Orukpe grabbed eight rebounds and blocked five shots in the Shockers win a few weeks ago against Iowa. “He's been a force,” Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall said of Orukpe. The Shockers lost four starters from last year's team but appear to be very much in the mix in the Missouri Valley Conference along with Illinois State, Creighton, and Northern Iowa. This league could warrant three or four bids to the NCAA Tournament.” - Jon Rothstein Files, CBS New York, Channel 2, Dec. 3
“In what should have been a rebuilding year for Wichita State, the Shockers have made their way into the MVC title conversation. Can they keep the momentum up? Andy Glockner weighs in.” –CNNSI.com, Dec 4

Smiling about Wichita's tourney win in Cancun. What's the big deal? You may not like the guy's style, but Gregg Marshall is a great coach.
