WICHITA, Kan. - Junior Cleanthony Early was named MVC Newcomer of the Week for the second-straight week as well as the WSU Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 26, 2012.

Early led the Shockers in scoring in the two games in Cancun and was named the tournament MVP. The Middletown, N.Y. native had 25 points and nine boards in the championship game, which included a 7-of-13 effort from the field and an 8-of-9 effort from the line.

For the week, he averaged 16.5 points and 9.0 rebounds while shooting 50 percent (11-22) from the field and 89 percent (8-9) from the line.
