WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State's Chelsey Feekin and Emily
Adney have been named AVCA All-Americans.
Both were named to the honorable mention team.
Feekin, a junior setter from Papillion, Neb., averaged 1.94
kills, 9.90 assists, 0.18 service aces, 2.70 digs and 0.60 blocks per set while
hitting .435. She also earned
first team all-region and first team all-Valley honors.
Adney, a senior outside hitter from Golden, Colo., averaged
2.92 kills, 0.27 service aces, 2.24 digs and 0.52 blocks per set. She also earned first team all-region
and first team all-Valley honors.
Feekin and Adney helped the Shockers to a 24-10 overall
record and WSU's first-ever appearance in the Sweet 16.
They join Sara Younes (2004), Sara Lungren (2007), Emily
Stockman (2008, 2009) and Kelly Broussard (2008) on the Wichita State
volleyball All-America list.
