TOPEKA, Kan.- Former Wichita State Track & Field standout Lindsay Eck Gray will join the Kansas State High School Athletics Association Hall of Fame.

During Eck Gray's decorated high school career at Beloit- St. Johns High School, she won 12 Kansas State Championships.

Eck Gray captured four Class 1A State Championships in her final high school season with first place performances in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, long jump, and triple jump.

The former Shocker remains the only high school athlete in Kansas history, male or female, to win the State Championship in long jump all four years of their career.

Eck Gray also won the 100m hurdles State Championship every year of her high school tenure. She is also a three-time Kansas State Champion in the 300m hurdles and a one-time triple jump gold medal winner.

At Wichita State, Eck Gray won three Missouri Valley Conference Championships. In the 2003 outdoor season, Eck Gray claimed her first MVC title in the long jump.

As a senior, Eck Gray won a MVC gold medal in the 60m hurdles during the indoor season. She finished her collegiate career by earning the MVC Outdoor 100m Hurdles Championship.

Eck Gray will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in a ceremony during the KSHSAA State Track & Field Meet on Saturday, May 25 at Cessna Stadium.
