Jordan Cooper has been named a Freshman All-American by Baseball America. Cooper was named to the second team.
Cooper, a right-hander from Berryton, Kan., went 8-6 with a 2.78 ERA. He also struck out 91 in 97 innings pitched. He led the team in wins, ERA and innings pitched. He also earned Valley Pitcher-of-the-Week honors four times.
It is the fourth Freshman All-America honor for Cooper this season. He was also named a first team Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball and a second team selection by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Ping!Baseball.
