WICHITA, Kan. - Fresh off leading Wichita State to one of the greatest men's basketball seasons in school history, former Shocker stars Joe Ragland, Toure' Murry, and Garrett Stutz have taken the next step in their basketball journey by participating in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
The Summer League is a key roster evaluation period for NBA teams especially in regard to young players.
Ragland, currently playing for the Golden State Warriors, has garnered the most attention thus far averaging 5.5 points per game due in large part to his 11-point outburst in the Warriors victory over the Denver Nuggets.
Murry has played 8.5 minutes for the Los Angeles Lakers summer league team still looking for their first victory. Murry has scored four points on two separate occasions.
Stutz played for the Brooklyn Nets in the Orlando summer league and is set to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves in Las Vegas.
