LONDON- Wichita State men's tennis volunteer assistant coach Nick Taylor and his partner David Wagner will move onto the gold medal match of the wheelchair tennis quad doubles division at the Paralympic games.
Taylor and Wagner defeated Noam Gershony and Shraga Weinberg of Israel, 6-3, 7-6, on Monday in the semifinals of the competition.
In the finals, the duo will defend their gold medal from Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 against Great Britain's Peter Norfolk and Andy Lapthorne.
Taylor will play his quad singles quarterfinals match against Anders Hard of Sweden on Tuesday. He defeated Shota Kawano of Japan, 6-1, 7-5, in the first round on Sunday.
