LINCOLN, Neb.- Wichita State senior women's golfer Hannah Martin finished the Chip-N-Club Invitational in a tie for ninth place on Tuesday afternoon at Lincoln Country Club.
Martin shot a 230 (77-75-78) over the three rounds to finish at 14-over for the tournament. Senior Hollie Weatherburn finished the tournament in a tie for 36th with a score of 243 (78-82-83), and freshman Bryce Schroeder finished in 41st place, shooting a 245 (83-78-84).
Alexandra Rossi, from SMU, won the tournament with a total score of 219 (70-81-68).
As a team, the Shockers finished in 10th place with a score of 973 (321-320-332). SMU captured the team title, shooting a 903 (304-310-289).
The Shockers are back in action at the Marilynn Smith Invitational in Lawrence, Kan. Sept. 24-25.
