DES MOINES, Iowa- Freshman Rebecca Pedrazzi and junior Montse Blasco Fernandez fell in their singles contests on the final day of the Drake Invitational on Sunday at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
Pedrazzi, playing in flight 'A', fell to Nelle Youel of Northern Illinois, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. She reached the finals by defeating Drake's Klavdija Rebol on Saturday.
In flight 'B' play, Nell Boyd from Drake took down Blasco Fernandez, 6-2, 6-4.
The Shocker women will continue their season next weekend when they head to Lawrence, Kan. for the KU Invite.
