WICHITA, Kan. - Senior Marcos Bailon is the WSU Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 17, 2012. 

Bailon helped the Shockers to their second consecutive win at the Missouri State Invite Saturday, Sept. 15 with his own second consecutive second place individual finish with an 8K time of 25:25. Bailon ran well despite rainy, muddy and wet conditions throughout the day, finishing ahead of 89 runners on the Springfield Underground course.
