Manakin-Sabot, Va. - The Wichita State University men's golf team leads the 12-team VCU Shootout after 36 holes of play. The third and final round begins Tuesday morning at 7:45 a.m. CDT.
Sophomore Louis Cohen Boyer led the charge for WSU, tying for second at 2-under par (71-71=142). He trails Maryland's Sean Bosdosh (70-71=141) by one stroke for the individual lead.
The Shockers take a seven-stroke lead into Tuesday, finishing at 4-over par (288-292=580). Virginia Tech is second at 11-over with Iowa State (+15), Long Beach State (+16) and Maryland (+17) rounding out the top five.
