COLUMBIA, Mo.- The Wichita State women's golf team shot a 308, their best score of the tournament, in the final round of the Johnnie Imes Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Old Hawthorne Golf Course.
As a team, the Shocker women shot a 949 (317-324-308) for the tournament, their lowest score so far this season, finishing in 19th place. Their third round score of 308 was also the lowest round they have shot this season.
The Shocks continue to improve as Hannah Martin, Natalie Samb, Bryce Schroeder, Meghan Schuetz and Madison Murphy each tied or beat their best round of the season.
The Shockers will have a week off before head to Springfield, Mo. for the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial at Rivercut Golf Course.
