The Shockers closed out the match scoring five out of the last seven points to take the second set, 25-21.

The Shockers took an early 6-2 lead over the Sycamores and never allowed ISU to get any closer. WSU expanded its lead to 16-8 after a kill by junior Chelsey Feekin and later increased the lead to 19-9 after a service ace by Driskill. The Shockers won the set 25-14.
