WICHITA, Kan. - Junior Satjaporn Mahajaroenkul is the WSU Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 8, 2012. 

Satjaporn 'Yok' Mahajaroenkul won two Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships this past weekend. She claimed the flight three doubles championship with her partner, Montse Blasco Fernandez. The pair defeated Mariel Ante and Maddie Johnson of Drake, 8-4 in the finals.

Mahajaroenkul also captured the flight five singles championship by defeating Stefanie Youngberg of Illinois State, 6-0, 6-0. She is currently 4-1 on the season in singles competition and 5-1 in doubles competition.
