Gold Forces Game Seven With 6-0 Win

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita State Gold squad forced a game seven with a 6-0 victory over the Black in game six of the Shocker Fall World Series.

Nate Goro went 3-for-5 with two RBI for the Gold, while Chris O'Brien went 2-for-4 with two RBI.  Walker Davidson also had three hits for the Gold.  Starter Charlie Lowell earned the win and pitched five shutout innings with four strikeouts, while Remington Johnson earned the save by pitching four shutout innings with three strikeouts.

Cody Lassley, Erik Harbutz and Ryan Engrav each had a hit for the Black.  Starter Josh Smith took the loss and pitched 4.2  innings and gave up one run on five hits with two strikeouts.

Game seven of the Fall World Series is Wed., Oct. 28 at 3 p.m.
