WICHITA, Kan.-- Tonya Nero has been named WSU Athlete of the Week.  Nero was the top female finisher for the Shockers, placing third, at the Missouri Valley Conference cross country championships on Saturday, Oct. 31.  

Nero finished third in the meet and helped Wichita State collect its fifth straight conference title.  The junior from Trinidad and Tobago finished the 5K course in a time of 18:45.
