WICHITA, Kan. – In partnership with Cox Communications, Wichita State will produce for a fourth season the “Shocker Sports Report” on Kansas 22, Director of Athletics Eric Sexton announced today.
Hosted by Mike Kennedy, the show returns with 23 weekly Shocker highlight shows at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday’s starting Nov. 3.
Tuesday’s show features volleyball coach Chris Lamb and student-athletes Melissa Granville and Sara Waldorf.
The show will again be produced by Intake Studios from the seating bowl of Charles Koch Arena, and will again include technology that will allow coaches to review game film.
Men’s basketball coach Gregg Marshall makes the first of 10 appearances Nov. 10, while second-year head women’s coach Jody Adams highlights the show Nov. 17. WSU President Don Beggs will be featured Jan. 12.
Baseball coach Gene Stephenson makes his first appearance Feb. 2, while softball coach Mike Perniciaro and Track and Field Coach Steve Rainbolt are scheduled for April 27.
In addition, the show will be available On Demand from Cox, while each show will re-broadcast the following Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. on Kansas 22.
