Shockers Win Fourth Straight Title, Defeat UNI

WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State women's tennis team completed their undefeated run through the Missouri Valley Conference, taking down Northern Iowa, 7-0, on Senior Day at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex on Sunday afternoon.

The Shocks started off on the right foot, winning all three doubles contests to take an early 1-0 lead.

In singles play, senior Lutfinana Budiharto got the match-clinching win after she defeated Cassandra Dix, 6-1, 6-1. Fellow senior Delia Damaschin also won her final match at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex, defeating Jessica Kunzelmann, 6-1, 6-2.

In all of the singles positions, the Shocker women went undefeated for the conference season on their way to capturing their fourth straight regular-season Missouri Valley Conference Championship.

Wichita State will begin play in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament on Friday, April 27th in Omaha, Neb.
