WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita State Black team used three hits and two RBI from Dayne Parker to win game one of the Fall World Series 7-3.

Parker went 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Mikel Mucha went 1-for-4 with two RBI and Joe Haddox went 1-for-4 with two RBI.

Black starter Cale Elam went five shutout innings with four strikeouts in a no decision.  Reliever TJ McGreevy earned the win as he went one inning and gave up one unearned run on one hit.

Erik Harbutz went 4-for-5 with an RBI for the Gold, while Micah Green went 3-for-5.

Starter Tobin Mateychick went four shutout innings, while reliever Foster Vielock took the loss.

Game two of the Fall World Series is Tue., Oct. 2 at 3 p.m.
