WICHITA, Kan. - Carl Hall and Demetric Williams each had 11 points to lead Wichita State to their second victory of the Triple Crown Cancun Challenge defeating Howard, 69-50, Saturday afternoon in Charles Koch Arena.

The Shockers offense found its stride from there with Demetric Williams consecutive breakaway finishes, the first a two-handed dunk and the second a layup around a Howard defender, to give Wichita State a 30-14 advantage with 3:00 remaining.

The Shockers closed the half on a 21-0 run over the final 7:01 capped by Nick Wiggins 3-pointer with thirty-two seconds remaining to take a 37-14 lead.
