WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State Athletics and Klausmeyer Construction have teamed up once again to build a newly constructed home in the Wichita area to benefit the Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization (SASO).
Don Klausmeyer of Klausmeyer Construction has been serving the community of Wichita since 1976 by building more than 3,700 homes in the Wichita area.
The new home, known as Shocker House III, is located in Schulte, Kansas. Shocker House III will be the third Shocker house Klausmeyer Construction has built with all profits donated to SASO.
The home, set to be completed September 2013, is being built in the Harvest Ridge Addition at 11022 Hollywood Ct, in Schulte. The house will be 1,256 square feet, have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a two-car garage, among other amenities.
Shocker House III will be constructed through donated labor and materials from area businesses and partnerships throughout the community. Current contributors include Klausmeyer Construction, Legacy Bank, Chad Abbott Survey, Seiwert Services – Excavating, Ruud Concrete, Brian Neal Foundations, Professional Waterproofing Inc., Star Lumber & Supply, B&B Lumber, A.M. Plumbing, Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning Inc., Central States Electric, Central States Lighting, NorthStar Comfort Services, Pioneer Materials, Drywall Perfections, Perfection Structural Components, LLC., Acme Brick, REW Materials, Tony's Drywall and Westar Energy.
Shocker House I & II, contributed more than $126,000 to the Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization.
