WICHITA, Kan.- Former Shocker guards Toure’ Murry and Gal Mekel have been able to take advantage of Wichita State’s run in the NCAA Tournament in 2013, according to Alex Skov.
Earlier this summer, Mekel signed a three-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks and played impressive basketball for the Mavericks summer league team. Murry also played well in the summer league for the New York Knicks, reportedly earning him a spot in Knicks training camp and possibly an NBA contract of his own.
