MTen: Shockers Set For Midland Fall Invitational

WICHITA, Kan.- Six Shocker men’s tennis student-athletes will compete in their first tournament of the season when they head to Midland, Texas for the Midland Fall Invitational, which takes place September 13-15.

Wichita State is coming off a 2012-13 season that saw them capture the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Championship to earn a berth into the NCAA Tournament. Four letterwinners, Ilija Cuic, Tomislav Gregurovic, Guillermo Nicol and MVC Freshman of the Year Tin Ostojic, all return from that squad.

Joining the four returners is a talented crop of newcomers in Guillermo de Vilchez, Jocelyn Devilliers and Ibian Hodgson.

The other schools participating in the Midland Fall Invitaional include Abilene Christian, Baylor, Boise State, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Texas, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Pepperdine, Rice, TCU, Texas, Texas-Arlington, Texas State, Texas Tech and Tulsa.
