BOONVILLE, Ind.- The Wichita State women’s golf team finished in fourth place in the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate with a 602 (298-304), as the Shockers completed the final round on Tuesday at Quail Crossing Golf Course.
Loyola captured the team title with a 587 (299-288).
Sophomore Meghan Schuetz (75-73) and junior Alejandra Arellano (72-76) each shot a 148 to finish in a tie for eighth. Alejandra Villalobos (75-79) and Daniela Rugeles (78-76) finished in a tie for 34th, each carding a 154. Sami Stewart rounded out the Shocker team scoring with a 156 (76-80) to finish in a tie for 47th. Playing as an individual, Madison Murphy shot a 162 (80-82) to finish in a tie for 60th.
Logan Willis of Loyola, Miriam Parker of Lipscomb and Sarah Boss of Northern Iowa finished in a tie for first, as they each shot a 144.
