Al Gebert (Coach, 1930-41)

Head football coach for 12 years, 1930-41. Had record of 68-40-6 for a winning percentage of .630. Best season was 1933 with record of 8-2. Teams won four Central Conference Championships--1931, 1937, 1938, 1939; co-champions 1932, 1935. Won more football championships than any coach in history of football at WSU. Charter Inductee, 1979.
