Wichita State (9-19, 3-13), wraps up the 2007-08 regular season this weekend, beginning with a 7 p.m., matchup against Creighton (18-9, 11-5) on Thursday night inside Charles Koch Arena. The Bluejays have won five of their last six, while the Shockers have lost six of seven down the stretch.
Creighton defeated WSU, 83-47, to open conference play in January in Omaha. Kiki Stephens scored 19 points but the Shockers had no answer for Creighton's transition game, which coupled with an 0-for-10 effort from 3-point range sent WSU to the worst loss in the series for either team. CU has won the last three games against WSU.
Shane Dennis will have the call on KFH 1240 AM, while live video will be available via subscription at www.shockervision.tv. Live stats will be available at www.goshockers.com. WSU completes the regular season at home on Saturday at 1 p.m., against Drake on Senior Day inside Charles Koch Arena.
