ASSISTANT WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL COACH
Wichita State University is seeking applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach within its NCAA Division I athletic program. Reporting directly to the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach, this is a full-time position with full benefits.
Wichita State University, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, enrolls over 15,000 students and sponsors 15 varsity sports.
Responsibilities: Assists with team practice sessions and game contests; instructs team members in game strategies and techniques; assists in volleyball team recruitment; responsible for video editing, tape exchange, team travel and practice scheduling; works directly with the head coach in counseling student-athletes concerning academic progress; assists in fundraising activities.
Required Qualifications: Minimum three years of NCAA Division I high level “Data Volley” statistical analysis software system experience. Minimum four years of high level, successful volleyball club coaching experience. Candidates must demonstrate that they have trained high level volleyball players who have competed at the Division I level and have additional video/technological experience in the sport of volleyball.
