EUGENE, Ore.- The Wichita State men’s golf team is in 12th place with a 607 (295-312) after the second round was completed in the NCAA West Regional on Friday at Eugene Country Club.
Louis Cohen Boyer is in a tie for 31st with a 148 (72-76), Chandler Rusk carded a 151 (73-78) and is in a tie for 50th, Grant Bennett is in a tie for 55th with a 152 (74-78) and Max Mason has a 36-hole score of 156 (76-80) and sits in a tie for 65th. Alec Heinen is in 75th with a 166 (84-82).
Stanford leads the team scoring with a 558 (276-282) and are led by Patrick Rodgers who is in first place individually with a 133 (66-67).
The third and final round of the NCAA West Regional will be completed on Saturday, with the top five teams advancing to the NCAA Championships hosted by Wichita State, May 23-28, at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
