WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State Athletics will begin construction on the All-Sports History Museum in the concourse of Charles Koch Arena on Nov. 30. Construction is expected to last approximately three weeks.
 
The museum was designed by Dimensional Innovations out of Shawnee, Kan.
 
The project will begin in the north concourse where the current Hall of Fame is located and extend to the practice gym. The goal of the project was to make WSU's history more accessible and more interactive and to tell the story of Shockers Athletics in a chronological fashion.
 
Highlights will include an interactive Hall of Fame, information on the start of each sport program, 18 of the greatest Shocker athletes, six great moments from the past 10 years, a large video wall and interactive displays for some sports.
 
This will replace the history museum that was taken out of the arena in January of 2014 and turned into a recruiting room.
