WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State Athletics has announced several gameday improvements for the 2026-27 men's and women's basketball seasons at Charles Koch Arena, focused on enhancing fan experience, improving convenience and continuing to expand both access and affordability for Shocker fans and students.
Men's Basketball Parking Passes
Qualifying season ticket holders will now utilize single-game perforated parking passes instead of one season-long pass giving pass-holders the ability to conveniently share their parking accommodations for games they cannot attend.
New on the Menu at Charles Koch Arena
Fans can enjoy a new value menu offering select traditional game day concession items for only $5 and several new items at the concession stands located in the concourse of Charles Koch Arena:

- Popcorn, Chicken Tenders, Hot Dog, Fries, Drink
- Shocker Poppers
- Wu's Slice – Cheese Pizza
- Wu's Slice – Pepperoni Pizza

- Wu's Hog Dog (Pulled Pork, Onion Straws and BBQ Sauce)
- New Larger SASO Souvenir Popcorn Buckets & Drink Cups
- anyone at the Shocker level ($1,500+) qualifies for the SASO popcorn bucket/drink cup, with free popcorn refills and $2 soda refills all season long for all five of our ticketed sports. Those can be picked up anytime at the Shocker Ticket Office or on gamedays as well as outside of the ticket office at a pickup table. They are both reusable and can be brought in through security and must be empty upon arrival.
- All stands will have non-SASO souvenir buckets and cups available for purchase.
- Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
- The locally-founded and beloved fast food chain will operate a concession stand located across from the Aetna Multi-Purpose Center in Koch Arena. They will serve their signature Steakburgers and shoe-string fries in addition to other Freddy's favorites.
Enhanced Entry & Mobile Convenience
To support smoother arrival and digital ticketing:
- Additional self-scan ticket stanchions remain installed at entrances to allow faster, seamless entry. Event staff will also be present to scan tickets as necessary.
- The GoShockers Mobile App has been enhanced with expanded ticket management features, including easier transfers, storage and scanning. Check out FAQ's here.
- Student ticketing remains mobile to allow easier access and to streamline the purchasing of additional tickets for guests. Claims begin two weeks before each respective game. Check here for more information.
- For just the second consecutive season, Wichita State men's basketball season tickets can be purchased online.

Expanded Student Meal Plan Access at Concessions
Students can still use
meal plans, dining dollars, Shocker Dollars and faculty/staff meal plans at the concession stand near
Section 119.
Included in this upgrade:
- Free regular popcorn for Unlimited Meal Plan holders
- Meal Swipe Combo Option:
- 1 bottled beverage
- Choice of Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders or Hot Dog
- Choice of one side
This initiative expands access and makes attending games more affordable for students.
In-Game Entertainment
• SCHEELS Jr. Shocker Club members will receive free admission to five games this season (as opposed to only one in previous years). Learn more at

• The Shock Block student section will feature a new student section banner to enhance the energy during key moments.
• In-venue fan engagement related to photo sharing to the videoboard, fan polls, and the light show during starting lineups will be powered by Vixi – an innovative, all-inclusive fan engagement platform that is trusted at the most important events around the world.
• Timeouts will showcase new sponsored promotions to freshen the game presentation.
• Fayola Oyatayo is set to return as the official in-venue emcee for Wichita State men's basketball.

Home Schedule Highlights
The 19 regular season games in Koch Arena this season are the most in a regular season (not including postseason or INTRUST Bank Arena games) in program history. That means Shocker fans get to see more games against better opponents for the same price as in 2025-26 -- an unbeatable value for a season ticket to watch Wichita's team. Reserved lower bowl tickets start at $40 for select games, while general admission tickets that will go on sale one week prior to each game are as low as $15.

- Early Renewal Gifts
- Fans that renewed their season tickets before the early renewal deadline are eligible to receive a unique vintage WuShock tabletop display. Qualifying season ticket holders will receive instructions for redeeming their gift at select games via email.
